Don't drop the camera now
The orginal low rider
A unique perspective of the ocean
• Ten years of paddling the New England coast and I still don't feel like I've seen more than a fraction of it. I'm currently using a 2010 NDK Expedition which feels like the best boat I've owned.
Past boats were:
2010 NDK Pilgrim Expedition
2007 '17 CF Current Design Solstice kayak
2003 17' kevlar Necky Elaho

Most casual day trips usually start out from South Boston and will circumnavigate the Outer Boston Harbor to include Calf Is, Boston Light and Lovel Is. I've been paddling this harbor for a number of years now and I still feel I've only skimmed the surface of this incredible area. I'm convinced it would take a lifetime to build a detailed knowledge and close relationship with the islands and the waters around them.

Other day trips include Narragansett Bay along Bristol, RI, Bearskin Neck in Rockport, MA or just about anywhere along the Cape.

Paddle with other folks from Boston Sea and Kayak Club, North Shore Paddle Network, Rhode Island Canoe/Kayak Association, Wild Turkey Paddlers or one of the many other great organizations devoted to kayaking, safety and having a great time on the water.

If you're new to kayaking and near the Rockport area visit Steve at North Shore Kayak Outdoor Center 9 Tuna Wharf, Rockport, MA 978-546-5050

See the complete listing of recent trips below. Hopefully you’ll recognize some of the places or it will inspire you to see them for yourself.
